Access to health facilities in the areas of Mt. Rwenzori in Kasese is one of the biggest challenges and all these are as a result of climate change. Kilembe Mine Hospital was washed away by River Nyamwamba and this was due to poor planning and settling or constructing houses in the areas where the river starts its long journey. The DRC and Uganda share the boarder and that is where the river is known to originate from-that is in Mt Rwenzori
