The funding of CHART-CR project from the Mastercard Foundation has helped to bring to the fore what would have remained a mystery. The Project team led by Prof. Irit Katz from the university of Cambridge and Dr. Gabriel Karubanga with the support from Mafumo Frank has enable the people of Hoima and Kasese to understand what needs to be done to address the glaring challenges and gaps in funding towards climate change, displacement and the refugees. The CHART-CR project lead by Prof Irit brought more than 70 0 stakeholders that discussed what is needed to solve the challenges of climate change, food security and displacement due to climate change
